Welcome to my portfolio.

I am a college student currently building my portfolio with individual, and school projects.

A quick sample of my works.

While I am still relatively new at this I have progressed and overcome challenges as they present themselves.

A quick preview of a main menu I created recently.

About Me.

I currently work full time as a diesel mechanic and have been attending school at Southern New Hampshire University since 2022 pursuing my degree in Game Programming and Development. I have played video games since the mid 90's and have always wondered what it took to make them. Now I plan on turning my curiosity into a reality. Going through school and working on developing different aspects in games so far has been a real treat. I enjoy tackling the challenges of how I might overcome a specific hurdle and how I can go about implementing my goals in any given environment. A little history about me is that after graduating high school in 2008 I joined the USMC as an engineer equipment mechanic. After serving for four years I just continued to do what I did in the military but I was never really fulfilled by it. I have now found that passion in creating video games. While as of yet I have no games completed and out in the market my goal is to have a 3rd person RPG ready by the time I get out of school next year.

Education

2022-Present

B.S. Game Programming and Development
Southern New Hampshire University

Going through the process of earning my degree I have learned the basics of a few different programming languages which resulted in a text adventure and a working Farkle dice game in the C++ language. Throughout the courses I have taken, learning level design, blueprint creation, UI, and many others aspects of the video game process. All of this work has been done on the Unreal Engine which I now feel very comfortable on.
